Story takes pride in durability, consistency

Wednesday night was the 101st straight game that Trevor Story has taken the field for the Rockies. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Royals’ Alcides Escobar leads the list of consecutive games played at 382, followed by the Padres’ Freddy Galvis at 214 and the Athletics’ Matt Chapman, who was in the lineup Wednesday for the 129th straight time.
